Flatware Polishing
Maintaining the finish on flatware is a process that is often neglected by restaurants, caterers, and hotels. If the flatware (often stainless steel) is not polished regularly, it will become scratched and dull and lose its original luster and shine.
To restore the flatware to its initial polish requires a two-step process. The first step will remove the scratches and leave a matte finish. This spoon pictured above was tumbled for about two hours with Plastic Tumbling Media in this step to get a pre-polished finish.
The final finish as seen in the spoon on the bottom, required a 24+ hour dry tumble in a Premium Treated Tumbling Media. This step slowly and effectively polished the stainless steel surface to get a near-mirror finish.
